Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) Position Shifts: 12 hours shift, AM and PM Weekend Shifts Overview: Brightstar is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care to patients in the OakPark / Maywood area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, empathy, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established healthcare standards. Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse Job Duties:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients to evaluate their health status.
• Administer medications, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety for the clients.

Position Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in the state of IL.
• Must be available to work Thursday-Sunday
• Strong knowledge of hoyer, trach, gtube, vent monitoring, catheter, and medication administration.
• Ability to perform physical examinations effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing empathetic care to patients and their families.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Commitment to always upholding healthcare standards and best practices.
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Least 1 year of experience
