Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check incoming product deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment according to company standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
- Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, permanent position located in Columbus, OH. The Warehouse Worker will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. The work environment is a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
