To shuttle hotel guests to and from the airport during their stay; Contribute to the guest experience by making it easier and more enjoyable for guest to arrive, check in and stay at the property.
Drives incoming/departing hotel guests between hotel and airport or other approved destinations and assists guests with luggage.
Attends and participates in monthly front desk and driver meetings.
Delivers proper communication of shuttle runs, delays or needs with fellow driver s on shift and front desk.
Inspects van to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate. Reports damage, accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
Complete and submits daily vehicle inspection and guest count checklists.
Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions. Answers questions related to airport facilities and shuttle operations.
Assists guests in the lobby, delivers messages and runs errands, returns bell carts in parking lot and from guest floors.
Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning, and fueling.
Maintains lobby in a clean and tidy manner; this includes, but is not limited to ashtrays, trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc.
Maintains the front port-cochere by picking up trash, cleaning oil leaks, shoveling snow, melting ice, hosing off sidewalks etc.
Empty front desk/back office trash and take to the dumpster at least once each shift.
Keep water stations full and hot cider filled (during cold months).
Refill Sweet Shop items as needed.
Transport deliveries for the front office upstairs from the loading dock.
Adheres to all local and state laws and brand and owner guidelines pertaining to driver certification and safe transport of guests. No texting or use of cell phones while vehicle is moving.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:This position requires a valid driver's license and excellent knowledge of the cities, towns, highways and traffic patterns around our hotel.
Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a routine.
Do the same task over and over, frequently in the same way.
Lift and carry things like luggage, boxes and bags.
