Join Our Team as a Universal Loan Officer!

Nebraska Energy Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and versatile Universal Loan Officer to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals.

About the Role:

As a Universal Loan Officer, you will be a key point of contact for our members, guiding them through the entire lending process. You will be responsible for originating a wide range of loan products, including Consumer lending, Home Makeover (HMO) and Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) loans. This role develops the knowledge and maintains the ability to cross sell “all” credit union products/services to provide financial needs for new and current members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the ability to conduct interview processing; gathering; gathering background information for all product applications through multiple channels while maintaining member confidentiality.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews with applicants to gather financial information and assess their needs.
• Provide expert financial counseling and advise applicants on the best loan options for their unique situation.
• Prepare and submit accurate loan files, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with state and federal regulations.
• Manage a pipeline of loans from application to closing, providing continuous communication and support to applicants.
• Cross-sell other financial products and services to meet the full range of a customer's needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a financial institution/sales experience preferred, with a focus on lending.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Goal-oriented, with a high level of sales and service drive.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.

Pay: $54,900.00 - $72,800.00 per year
