Summary:

The Spool Recycling Operator will be responsible for running the spool cleaning area of the plant. The job requires setting up creels of full spools of yarn, which will be stripped off and chipped for recycling. Organization ability, time management, and self-drive will be needed to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities :

• Run a spool recycling area where spools of yarn will have the yarn pulled off and chipped up for recycle of the yarn and re-use of the spools.
• After obtaining a site forklift license, use the forklift to manage inventory, weigh boxes, and maintain an organized work area.
• Follow instructions and make improvement suggestions
• Document daily results
• Exhibit ability to be self-driven to hit targets with minimal supervision
• Work to continuously improve the setup, efficiency, and organization of the spool recycle area

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Should exhibit basic mathematical skills
• Must be physically capable of lifting 25 pounds over head, lifting 60 pounds up to 5 feet high and using a pallet jack to transport product up to 2,500 pounds
• Forklift experience is desired
