Job Description

Our CPG client is looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract. This position is 35 hours a week and fully remote. You will be expected to be working during business hours.

The ideal candidate is comfortable being in front of the camera, up to date on social trends, and is excited to try various creative tactics to engage Gen-Z consumers.

Duties of the Social Media Content Specialist:

• Perform listening across channels to identify relevant trends and opportunities for content that allows the brands to drive engagement and relevancy
• Concept and pitch both static design and lo-fi lifestyle video content to be published on TikTok and Instagram that strategically ladder back to brands overall strategy and business goals
• Manage end-to-end content creation - design, produce, edit, and copywrite for all social content across TikTok and Instagram
• Serve as on-camera talent as needed, bringing energy and engagement to each piece of content
• Track content performance metrics and share continuous optimization strategies to garner more engagements, reach, followers, etc
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and formats in short-form content to maintain relevance and audience appeal
• Collaborate across teams to execute creative strategies and maximize reach through cross-brand promotions

Requirements of the Social Media Content Specialist:

• Bachelors Degree preferred, not required.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience creating content and managing social channels for a major brand
• Experience concepting, creating, and analyzing content to engage audiences
• Experience acting as on-camera talent for a brand
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva Pro, InShot, CapCut, social media platforms, Instagram, TikTok and video editing knowledge required
• Experience synthesizing data to provide recommendations to improve content and maximize reach
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
