Salary: $127,310 - 243,340 per year Requirements:

• We require candidates to hold a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with core quantitative coursework. If you have 4 additional years of relevant experience, we may consider that in place of a degree. You should also have a minimum of 6 years of related experience in model validation, model development, statistical analysis, and/or advanced quantitative research. Alternatively, an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field, combined with 4 years of relevant work experience, is acceptable. Strong programming skills in languages such as R, Python, SAS, Java, C, SQL, or other comparable programming languages are essential. Additionally, you should have extensive experience with at least three statistical or predictive modeling approaches, as well as a solid understanding of the operational and support functions in Banking and/or Insurance.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will execute independent model validation control activities for high-risk in-house and vendor models. You will leverage your expertise to devise and implement validation testing strategies. Replicating model development and possibly creating challenger models using various techniques like predictive modeling, machine learning, and simulation will be key components of your work. You will oversee data quality assessments for models, ensuring they adhere to compliance standards. Additionally, you will assess model risk ratings and oversee the model validation work of your peers. You will produce validation reports for management and ensure alignment with risk policies. Evaluating model risk control strengths in their development and implementation will also fall under your purview.

For this role, the compensation range is $127,310.00 - $243,340.00, with pay determined by your experience and market data associated with the position.
