Pro Dog Bather Wanted – Join the Hugs for Harry Team!

Are you passionate about dogs and looking to make a difference in their lives? Hugs for Harry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to rescuing senior, forgotten, and abused dogs in the Bay Area, is looking for a Pro Dog Bather to join our small but mighty team! Based at Hugs Haven in Orinda , we provide loving care to our clients' dogs as well as our rescued pups, and we’re searching for someone who shares our commitment to giving these dogs the kindness and compassion they deserve.

About the Role:

As our Pro Dog Bather , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our furry residents feel clean, comfortable, and loved. This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to directly improve the lives of dogs who have endured hardship and are now enjoying a safe haven with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide gentle and thorough bathing and grooming services for our rescued dogs.
• Monitor and assess the condition of each dog’s coat and skin, reporting any concerns to the team.
• Create a calm and stress-free environment for the dogs during their grooming sessions.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized grooming area.
• Collaborate with our small team to ensure the overall well-being of the dogs at Hugs Haven.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least 1 -3 years of professional dog bathing or grooming experience.
• Skills: A patient, compassionate, and dog-savvy individual who understands the unique needs of senior and rescued dogs.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable with the physical aspects of bathing dogs, including lifting and handling pups of various sizes.
• Team Player: Someone who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to our mission.
