The Physician Assistant will be responsible for the following job duties:
- Cover attending clinics. Evaluate new and return patients with the attending physician. Assist with placing consults and providing necessary work-up for clinic patients.
- Run independent PA clinic. Evaluate follow-up and post-op patients independently. Provide wound care and necessary bedside procedures.
- Coordinate patient care, patient education and teaching, communicating with patients pre-operatively and post-operatively, and communicating with other providers to obtain all pertinent clinical information to facilitate patient care. - Interface with residents, fellows, attending physicians, physician assistants, and nurses to coordinate care as part of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team.

- Provide educational sessions to nursing and medical assistant staff in the clinical setting.
Shifts: 10-hour day shifts; 7:00 am – 5:30 pm; no weekends
Qualifications:
You must be fully credentialled by The Johns Hopkins Hospital medical board with staff privileges to start working.
Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
