Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

Location: Selma, TX (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract-to-hire

Pay: $21-24 / Hourly

About the Role:

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Medical Administrative Assistant to support our client’s growing healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to organize and manage medical/legal case documentation and thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage case files using internal systems and web-based portals
• Review and process incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Assign case-related tasks to consultants and track progress through completion
• Communicate with medical professionals to ensure timely delivery of required materials
• Maintain compliance with internal protocols and industry regulations
• Prioritize and organize case workload based on urgency and complexity
• Log and monitor case activity, consultant assignments, and documentation status
• Serve as the primary contact for internal inquiries related to case setup
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve workflow issues
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements:

Experience: 3 years in an administrative or office-based role, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or legal support

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Typing speed of 65 WPM or higher
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable navigating web-based platforms and data entry systems
• Professional, proactive, and team-oriented with a customer service mindset
