Maintenance Technician

• Maintenance Technician

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift

• $42-$48

• Manufacturing Plant

• Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive electrical maintenance on industrial equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation systems, and controls using schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Install new plant equipment and processes, including electrical wiring, conduit, and cable routing from existing power sources.
• Support and enforce company and site-specific safety programs, ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and storage area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision or management.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, completion of a trade school program, or journeyman-level experience.
• 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid knowledge of NFPA 70E (National Electric Code) and industrial electrical safety practices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment, reading schematics and blueprints, and troubleshooting systems from 480Vac to 24Vdc.
• Working knowledge of motor controls, relays, starters, switches, and pushbuttons.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Allen-Bradley PLCs, AC/DC drives, and electric motors.
