Dental Hygienist

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $29.79–$54.32 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
• Loan Repayment: Eligible on a case-by-case basis

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, exams, and preventive services for patients of all ages
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8-hour shifts
• Patient Visits: One-hour appointments per patient
• Document patient care accurately in the Athena One EMR system
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and disease prevention
• Take dental radiographs as needed
• Collaborate with a team of two dentists, two assistants, and three hygienists
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
• Contribute to a supportive and efficient dental team environment

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• CPR Certification
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently in a rural setting
• New graduates will be considered
