Job Description

Description We are looking for a highly experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a construction firm located in Stamford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, while demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and team members. Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing. - Oversee payroll operations, including hourly payroll, to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. - Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and record financial transactions. - Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues. - Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making. - Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives. - Provide support for other accounting-related tasks as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industry. - Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Experience with hourly payroll operations is highly desirable. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and team members. - Solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation. - Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
