GSR Group proudly owns and operates Wingstop franchise locations, providing outstanding food and exceptional service to our guests. We’re expanding our support team to include a Bookkeeper. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every guest, whether they’re asking about menu items, orders, or employment opportunities. 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage accurate financial records, support day-to-day accounting operations, and contribute to maintaining a strong financial foundation for the organization.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will oversee the recording, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial transactions for GSR Group. This role involves maintaining ledgers, processing payments, preparing financial summaries, and supporting compliance and reporting functions.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Recordkeeping

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries for all financial transactions.

  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.

  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently.

  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries.

  • Provide reports on cash flow, expenses, and revenue as needed.

  • Support management in monitoring budgets and tracking financial performance.

Compliance & Administrative Support

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

  • Assist with audits and tax preparation as required.

  • Support senior finance staff with ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks.

Systems & Software

  • Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or ERP systems) to manage financial data.

  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets and digital records for internal tracking.

  • Recommend process improvements for bookkeeping and financial reporting efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial recordkeeping.

  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all financial documentation.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a corporate, multi-entity, or remote work environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving approach.
