Queen’s Price Chopper – Baker Position

Full-Time or Part-Time

The primary purpose of a Baker is to produce a large variety of cakes, cookies, pastries and more in our bakery department. The baker will provide the freshest breads and sweetest treats to provide our customers a perfect choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and beyond. 

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Mixing, preparing and baking bread and pastries.
• Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for opening.
• Open the bakery every morning.
• Arranging the display cases/tables in an appealing manner.
• Handle food safely and keep everything fresh and clean.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to exert or lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements :

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
