Description What is the job? The Asset Protection CCTV/Alarm Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and successful delivery of CCTV, alarm, and life safety projects across new builds, remodels, and aging systems. You’ll work closely with Construction, IT, Operations, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and meet all safety, technical, and compliance requirements.
This role involves coordinating contractors and integrators, reviewing documentation, tracking progress, and serving as the point of contact for project decisions. You’ll also support troubleshooting, technology updates, and accurate documentation of systems, warranties, and compliance requirements to maintain life safety standards across all properties and ensure a smooth handoff to Operations.
What will you be doing?- You will manage end-to-end CCTV, alarm, and life safety projects, including design reviews, installation oversight, documentation, and system completion.
- You’ll coordinate with contractors, integrators, architects, IT, and Construction to ensure all technical specs, timelines, and fire code requirements are met.
- You will troubleshoot CCTV and alarm systems, support upgrades to newer technology, and provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network configuration.
- You’ll track progress, warranties, insurance documents, change orders, and compliance records, ensuring accurate documentation across all projects.
- You will oversee procurement processes, cost control, and vendor partnerships, while collaborating with Finance to manage project budgets and payments.
About You - You have 1–3 years of experience with CCTV systems, alarm installation/repair, low-voltage environments, or technical project support (or equivalent theatre/industry experience).
- You bring strong project management skills, the ability to read and interpret low-voltage construction documents, and confidence leading contractors or integrators.
- You communicate clearly, build strong internal/external relationships, and can influence, negotiate, and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and technical requirements simultaneously.
- You’re comfortable traveling to construction sites as needed and working hands-on with equipment, documentation, and system installations.
